Mark Kaplan has been practicing as a Physician Assistant since December 2000 when he graduated from the Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed a residency program in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center.
He has a Master degree of Physician Assistant Studies from the University Of Nebraska College Of Medicine. In 2002 he joined the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center where he currently practices. He has experience in Orthopedic Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
In addition to working full time with the cardiothoracic surgery department, he also works with Electrophysiology and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. He enjoys running, and is a member of the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center running team.
